Data Function Method Description
String EVF_SHA Encryption Salted SHA-2 encryption (SHA-256, other options also available)
String EVF_PSHA Encryption Partial hash – X leading or trailing characters remain unchanged, the rest is hashed by salted SHA-2
String EVF_MSK Masking Partial masking – X leading or trailing characters remain unchanged, the rest is masked. For example: "**** **** **** 3424" for credit cards
Date EVF_RDT Randomization Random date within specified range, optional parameter - only working days
Date EVF_BDT Randomization Semi anonymization – randomly change only the day and month, but keep year, optionally change year randomly within the X years band +/- current year, i.e. for 2019 and X= 2 the band is defined as 2017-2021
Numbers EVF_RND Randomization Random (decimal) number within the range, typically amount or small integer, two functions if necessary due to data types
Numbers EVF_ID Tokenization translating one value to another keeping the data types, useful mainly for IDs, when consistently change key values
Specific EVF_IBAN Tokenization IBAN, first X characters remains, rest is tokenized
Specific EVF_PND Tokenization Tokenized number with given pattern stored as string
